Ruggles Sign has a wonderful opportunity for two FABRICATORS at our facility located in Versailles, KY, and is looking for energetic and detailed individuals who will have a positive influence as team members in our Fabrication Department. The job entails the following:

Fabricate electrical, non-illuminated, and mechanical parts, pieces, or products for use in all types of signage; use a variety of tools and equipment according to Ruggles Sign standards and meet all shipping deadlines.

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of hand tools.

• Assemble raw materials for preparing, fabricating, and finishing various types of signage.

• Perform in-house repair, maintenance, and fabrication of all types of signage and lighting.

• Ability to operate machinery in the process of producing signage.

• Perform routine equipment setup and verify proper operation of factory machines, within acceptable standards.

• Bending, sanding, cutting, fastening metal, plastics, or other materials as needed for various types of signage.

• Metal/plastic work; welding, soldering, gluing, and wiring.

• Solve sign fabrication and design issues daily.

• Maintain adherence to quality standards.

• Teamwork is an essential aspect of the job, and the applicant must be willing to work for in other departments of production as needed

• Normal hours:  Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:30pm

• Overtime, night, and weekend work may occasionally be required.

•         High School diploma or equivalent

•         Vocational training or post high school certification is preferred.

•         Experience with metal and/or plastic fabrication; and/or basic electrical circuitry.

•         Physical ability to perform tasks related to this assignment – stand, bend, twist, lift, kneel, reach, pull, squat, push, etc.

•         Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours per day.

•         Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

•         Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.
